Why are schools still segregated?

Segregation had been happening for a long while until 1968, but it still happens to this day now in 2022. There is clearly still division in schools  and that should not be the case. There should be no division at all with any race. We are all one and are all the same. It does not matter what race we are we should not be divided. U.S.  schools are growing more diverse and it's still to this day that some schools and teachers still favor more see students than the other. Segregation keeps going on today but not as much as it used to be back then. It's sad to say it still happens in schools today, and we definitely need to change that to better our schools. School segregation continues because of the school boundaries housing policy and it must be stopped. It also happens in urban and rural areas. The urban areas mostly have the great big schools with a lot of things while the rural don't have much. I dont see why there is division and segregation. We have to better that. As a country and as the United States we need to better that to be as one whole team. Education is for everyone and we should not have segregation at all.
